Reflections on Sacred Teachings Vol. 5

By Bhaktitirtha Swami (Swami Krishnapada)

Volume Five: Srila Bhaktisiddhanta's Sixty-four Principles for Community.

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura founded his Gaudiya Matha on sixty-four principles that outline a perfect and complete foundation for a spiritual society. In this book Bhaktitirtha Swami reflects on these principles in order to explore how they can be used for form a happy, healthy, and prosperous spiritual society.
Although not widely recognized in ISKCON in their original form, Bhaktisiddhanta's sixty-four principles are a key to the success of any Vaishnava community. These principles often focus on quality relationships among the devotees of the Lord and the process of devotional service.
Bhaktitirtha Swami elaborates these principles so that Vaishnavas can establish the type of communities envisioned by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta and Srila Prabhupada, communities that focus on the spiritual wellbeing of its members rather than just their physical wellbeing.
