Vrndavan Devotee Needs Emergency Support

By: Devamrita das & Srestha das

A Russian devotee at the Krishna Balaram Temple in Vrndavan requires financial support for his emergency medical care. Adiras das has been doing 24-hour kirtan seva for more than ten years and is a very serious, renounced brahmachari. While visiting Radha Kund, he awoke in the night and walked out onto the roof of a three-storey building. He fell from the roof and sustained head injuries and a broken thigh.

Adiras prabhu has been in an intensive care unit of the hospital for a week now and is still in a coma. He has had major head surgery to stop the internal bleeding. So far the bills are about Rs.100,000 (US $2500 or 1850 Euros). Adiras prabhu has no money with him. He will require more surgery; he will need a steel rod inside his thighbone and still faces other problems resulting from the head injury. We humbly urge members of Srila Prabhupad's devotional family to support us in this critical cause, so that he can survive.
