For the third year in a row, Bhaktin Janet (Napolitano)- as His Holiness Ganapati Swami Maharaja says- the Governor of Arizona, U S A - issued another Proclamation for Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Saturday August 23, 2008.
In fact, she is the first ever government official anywhere in the world to issue a Proclamation for Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
The BhaktiVedanta Cultural Center and Temple in Phoenix, known as Hare Krishna Mandir is the oldest Center, established in 1996. It is the first Hindu Temple in Arizona and has inspired other Temples which have been established later on to fulfill spiritual needs of Hindus and others in Arizona. The City of Phoenix has issued a permit.
